Bebington Glazing opens a ‘window of opportunity’
Bebington Glazing is looking forward to the next twelve months in business, describing 2016 as a ‘window of opportunity’.
The independent firm, located in New Ferry, has been appointed to work on a number of notable residential and commercial projects across the North West in the upcoming year.
Managing Director of Bebington Glazing Kay Finlay said: “With the New Year well underway, it’s great to look ahead to the prolific 12 months that we have planned. As an independent business, it’s certainly rewarding to have been appointed to work on prestigious brands. Upcoming projects include working alongside Bridgestone Construction to fit glass balustrades during the development of new apartments based in Roman Gate, Chester, as well as working with Roofcare to replace windows for a local housing association.
“As our portfolio grows, so does our team, and last year we reported a significant increase in the number of staff that we have. We have been operating an apprenticeship scheme that has seen us employ two permanent members of staff following their training and recently, we have welcomed two new apprentices to the team. It’s great to be in a position to allow local young people to learn their skills under trained professionals and for them to take the first steps into their career with us.“
In 2015, the Wirral based business was appointed to carry out a series of large-scale projects across the North West including glass fitting in the popular Chimp House Enclosure at Chester Zoo, together with the construction of a contemporary glass canopy in a Crewe based health centre. Domestic projects included balcony and balustrade work carried out in properties across sought after residential areas such as Commonhall Street, Chester.
Kay added: “2015 saw some exciting developments for Bebington Glazing. We undertook a series of new challenges all over Merseyside and even further afield and welcomed bright new staff on board. The team and I look forward to seeing what the upcoming year has in store.“
