Businesswoman Henna Riaz takes over 360 Audit

North West entrepreneur Henna Riaz has taken full ownership of 360 Audit, the Warrington-headquartered royalty auditing company, after buying out her co-partners.

Media lawyer Henna bought out Tommy Schweiger and Dow Schofield Watts, the advisory firm, who jointly held a 45% stake in the company.

Now, the firm has revealed plans to expand in the US with a new office in Los Angeles.

Commenting on the transaction, Henna said: “For clients, nothing will change. The same people will be giving the same excellent service levels.

“I will continue to lead the business and the aim now is to forge ahead with our ambitious growth plans, consolidating relationships outside of the UK and setting up an LA office later in the year.”

She added: “We’ve made huge strides internationally and currently around 60% of our audits take place overseas.”

Founded in 2010, 360 Audit employs a team of nine to look after clients such as celebrity chef Jamie Oliver, singer-songwriter Gary Barlow, children’s television network Nickelodeon and Liverpool FC.

Following the takeover, Henna has appointed Philia Riaz as her new global head of audit.

Speaking further about the company’s international growth, Henna said: “We are carrying out an increasing amount of work in the USA, Brazil, mainland China, Thailand, India and Hong Kong and I’m excited to see what the future brings in these areas.

“It’s an exciting stage and taking on full ownership means I can drive 360 Audit forward and ensure the business reaches its full potential.”

The firm, which also has offices in London and Bury, intends to take on additional auditors to accommodate its growth plans.
