Talent Pipeline pays off for Trend Bible
Northumbria University Graduate Hannah Matthews is the latest to join the team at Newcastle-based trend forecasting agency, Trend Bible. For the past three years, Hannah has been working as a designer at Hallmark Cards. She joins Trend Bible as Trend Analyst, working on the content and design of trend publications that are sold in over 20 countries. Hannah will help the Trend Bible team expand further into the world of gift and greetings, where they are seeing a significant uplift in interest for trend insight.
Trend Bible Managing Director, Joanna Feeley said; “I’m thrilled that Hannah is joining our team. I visited the Northumbria University final graduation show back in 2012 and Hannah’s work really stood out as being something special. She had already been snapped up but we’ve kept in touch and now is the right time for us to work together. It just proves that nurturing a talent pipeline is an ongoing commitment from a business owner’s point of view. It’s imperative we have a network of people in mind to help us recruit quickly during this phase of high growth.”
Hannah added; “I’m excited to be returning to the North East and bringing my commercial experience to the world of trend forecasting at Trend Bible. The role will allow me to bring my illustration and design skills to the trend publications and bespoke consultancy projects for global brands and retailers.”
Hannah is the fourth graduate from Northumbria Univeristy to join the Trend Bible team. Sales at Trend Bible have increased by 60% in 2015 sparking the current recruitment drive.
