Turnover jumps 31% for Maidstone’s Apogee UK
Maidstone-based Apogee UK’s preliminary results have revealed a 31% rise in turnover to £89m in 2015.
The managed services provider, which merged with Balreed Group to create the Apogee Group UK in 2015, saw turnover leap from the £68m it posted the previous year.
When Balreed’s eight months of trading prior to the merger are taken into account, the newly formed Apogee Group UK’s turnover climbs to £112m on a pro-forma basis, constituting a 65% increase on the previous year.
The group provides independent print, document and process technology in the UK and nine other countries across Europe.
The figures pleased Martin Randall, Group Finance Director of Apogee UK, when he said: “Apogee UK outperformed every budget we set ourselves in 2015 which is a terrific achievement, particularly given the scale of the acquisition and subsequent integration
“The consolidated Group’s pro forma results of £112 million turnover give a very clear indication of just how much Apogee has grown in scale in the last 12 months, and what has been very reassuring to see is that we have continued to grow over the four months since the acquisition, winning more new clients and installing over 14,000 new devices.”
