Albany Assistance 2016 Nominated Charity Search
Peterlee based claims management company, Albany Assistance is currently on the lookout for a local charity to become their nominated charity for 2016.
Last year Albany Assistance raised over six thousand pound for charity by hosting an array of fundraisers to coincide with national charity days such as; British Heart Foundation’s Wear It Beat It campaign, Macmillan Cancer Support’s World’s Biggest Coffee Morning and Text Santa’s Christmas Jumper Day.
This year Albany plans to sponsor a local North East charity throughout the year, with fundraising days held at their Peterlee offices as well as collection tins and official merchandise available to all staff for a small donation or charge.
Wendy Wilson, Internal Event Coordinator at Albany Assistance said; “The team always enjoy taking part in charity days and seasonal fundraisers. Last year we had an in house poll and decided to host an Easter fundraiser for the Great North East Ambulance service, so we thought why not go one better for 2016 and find a local charity that we can sponsor and donate to throughout the year.”
All updates from the charity fundraising activities will be posted on Albany Assistance’s social media channels with event photographs and a rolling total of how much has been collected.
Any local charities interested in being considered for support, should contact Albany Assistance by emailing Marketing Assistant, Alexandra Chapman on alexandra.chapman@albanyassistance.co.uk
