Jackson Fire & Security takes on more noodle bar outlets
Jackson Fire & Security is helping a nationwide noodle bar chain to expand.
Working at 15 different locations across the UK, our engineers are supplying a range of fire and security systems for Wok&Go, ensuring they meet strict regulations for restaurant fire and safety.
We are providing PAT testing together with maintenance of fire extinguishers, CCTV and emergency lighting.
We also supply maintenance and servicing of fire alarm systems at ten different sites, and our partner company Delyn Safety compiles all fire risk assessments for Wok&Go restaurants.
Project manager Chris Brooks said: “We’ve been working with the team at Wok&Go for a number of years now, and we’re really happy to see them increase their presence across the UK.
“We supply a really comprehensive package of services, which means we can take care of their staff and customer safety obligations while they focus on growing the business.
“In fitting alarms for industrial kitchens, the key is to ensure the right equipment is used. We’ve had other clients in the past that have installed smoke detectors in kitchens, which leads to a lot of false alarms when the chefs are at work.
“On our Wok&Go projects we are trying to minimise and where possible, completely eliminate the chances of staff members being exposed to a fire.
“We are currently in discussions about introducing new technology which will eradicate any false alarm events.”
Wok&Go operations director Michael Evans said: “Jackson Fire & Security already look after 15 of our stores, and will be covering another two before Christmas in London and Kent.
“The beauty of the arrangement is that they can handle all of our fire and security needs.
“At first they just serviced our fire extinguishers and alarms, but now they’re working on other projects, including PAT testing and fire risk assessments with Delyn Safety.
“We’ve been working with them for a number of years, and as we’ve grown, they’ve continued to help meet our different needs.”
