North of England Training becomes approved AAT provider
North of England Training has been accredited by the Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) to deliver its accounting qualifications.
AAT is the UK’s leading qualification and professional body for vocational accountants. Its qualifications give students practical skills to work in a range of finance and accounting jobs. People with AAT qualifications go on to work at all levels and in all sectors of the economy with some running their own accountancy practices.
North of England Training, based at Chorley Business and Technology Centre, will have room for up to 50 students to study for Levels 1 and 2 of the AAT Accounting Qualification in addition to other AAT qualifications such as Level 2 Award in Accounting Skills to Run Your Business, AAT Essentials, and Level 1 & 2 Awards and Certificate in Bookkeeping. Courses start running from February 2016.
Only AAT Approved training providers are allowed to deliver AAT qualifications and courses and they must first go through a rigorous verification process. Students should therefore only register with an AAT Approved training provider to ensure they receive the highest standard of teaching.
Commenting on the announcement, Ruth Quaglieri, Director said: “AAT strengthens North of England Training’s offering in the accounting and finance fields by matching this prominent qualification with our tutors wealth of knowledge and expertise in training accountancy students. It will offer students the chance to learn some of the most in-demand skills in the world, and gain a professional status they can be proud of.”
Mark Farrar, AAT Chief Executive, said: “Every business needs well trained finance staff and an AAT qualification demonstrates to a prospective employer that you have the skills to do a job. Gaining an AAT qualification, which are internationally recognised and respected, is a great step into a professional finance career.”
