Electricbase lights-up Gloucester with showroom launch
Electricbase has launched a lighting showroom in Gloucester as part of a national strategy to take advantage of the burgeoning LED market while strengthening its specialist offering among local tradespeople and their customers.
The showroom located as part of the Buildbase branch on Metz Way is one of the first to open nationwide.
For the first time Electricbase will be encouraging its loyal customer base of local builders and electricians to bring their own customers - the showroom has been designed as a comfortable place where the trade can confidently take their customers, taking advantage of the specialist expertise and product knowledge on-hand.
The new venture incorporates more than 300 different LED lighting fixtures and fittings for the home and garden, a selection that is unavailable elsewhere in the market. The extensive range will include the latest cutting edge LED technology including a newly launched own-brand lighting range, Suregraft.
Adam Okin, branch manager at Electricbase Gloucester said: “The LED market is growing fast, thanks to its greater energy efficiency, lower cost and environmental impact as well as enhanced safety and aesthetic appeal. More manufacturers and consumers are moving towards this option. We are responding by providing specialist showrooms that combine the latest technology and vast range of options to choose from with dedicated experts on hand to help make buying easier.
“We already have an established market in Gloucester from a small concession that’s successfully run over two years. This move means we can better support our loyal trade customers while opening our doors to their customers too. They will have a comfortable place to browse, with lighting displayed in a home-style setting so they can really see what their purchase would look like in their own homes.”
