Great Annual Savings reveals international expansion
Cost reduction firm Great Annual Savings Group (GAS) has launched a sales division in the Republic of Ireland, the company’s first venture outside of Britain.
Expansion into international markets comes after a strong 2015 for the Durham-headquartered firm, whereby it moved to larger premises in Seaham whilst trebling its headcount to over 100 staff.
The company, which helps businesses to save money, said the new division will service a growing Irish market and its portfolio of customers in the country. Since making the move a few weeks ago, GAS revealed that it has generated almost £100k of sales.
Bradley Groves, chief executive and chairman of Great Annual Savings Group, said: “Our expansion into the Republic of Ireland marks a significant milestone in the firm’s growth story.
“We’ve come a long way since last January, when we had about 30 staff operating from our former South Shields office and a customer base that was largely made up of companies in the North East and Yorkshire.
“Since then we’ve trebled the size of the business, built a portfolio of customers in other areas of the UK and bolstered our management team with several key appointments. We are on track to expand at a similar rate in 2016.”
