Salford-based ResponseTap to create 13 jobs with £900k funding
Call marketing software firm ResponseTap has received a £900k investment boost to drive its growth plans and hire more staff.
The Salford-based firm secured the funding from The North West Fund for Mezzanine, which is managed by Enterprise Ventures, and now plans to create 13 new jobs.
Enterprise Ventures’ Will Clark said: “Call-based marketing automation is a fast developing sector.
“As companies seek to reach a more targeted audience, this type of software is becoming integral to their marketing efforts as it allows them to provide a superior experience for customers, identify their needs and turn browsers into buyers.”
ResponseTap’s product allows businesses to track customer behaviour from their first website visit to the point at which they pick up the phone to make an order. The data collected is then used to improve customers’ call experience.
Will continued: “ResponseTap has become a leader in its field by continually improving its technology.
“This funding will enable it to stay at the forefront by helping to accelerate the development of even more advanced systems.”
The firm was founded in 2008 by Ross Fobian and Richard Hamnett after they created the concept while at university.
Today, ResponseTap employs a team of 50 at its Salford base and also operates offices in London and the US.
