Premier Lasertube doubles Leeds operation with warehouse acquisition
Premier Lasertube has acquired a 54,210 sq ft warehouse at Treefield Industrial Estate in Leeds in order to facilitate its regional expansion.
The firm, which forms part of the Brown & Tawse Steelstock Ltd group portfolio and entered the Leeds market in 2012, is doubling its Leeds operation in a move from a 25,000 sq ft facility at Confederation Park.
Treefield Industrial Estate is located off the A62 at the top of Gelderd Road within a quarter of a mile of Junction 27 of the M62 motorway.
The new facility offers access to the national motorway network, Leeds City Centre and the inner and outer ring roads.
CBRE’s Leeds Industrial Agency team has acquired the warehouse on behalf of Premier Lasertube.
Jacques Esterhuizen, senior surveyor at CBRE Leeds, said: “We have seen a trend in companies such as Premier Lasertube struggle to find ‘fit-for-purpose’ facilities. We are delighted to have assisted in the acquisition to deliver a successful outcome for the expanding firm.”
Andrew Gent, director at Gent Visick, added: “The letting of this property clearly reflects the changed circumstances in the property market where vacant units in good locations are now highly sought after and do not remain vacant for long.”
CBRE Leeds acted on behalf of Premier Lasertube. Gent Visick acted on behalf of the Landlord.
