West Yorkshire’s John Cotton marks centenary year with launch of new comfort technology

West Yorkshire’s John Cotton Group has unveiled its new Airstream comfort technology.

Marking 100 in business, the Mirfield-based bedding specialists’ new, state-of-the-art comfort technology contains breathable fibres allowing air to flow freely and prevents heat building up to critically high temperatures.

John Cotton launched the technology whilst at the Heimtextil trade show in Frankfurt, where the company also featured its largest exhibition stand to date – four times the size that it was in 2015.

Mark Cotton, group managing director, said: “Introducing this new comfort technology across the group will bring a number of advantages to consumers.

“Unlike memory foam, Airstream contains breathable fibres that are vertically aligned, so it’s exceptionally comfortable, supportive and cool.”

The unveiling of Airstream also coincided with the start of the centenary celebrations for the John Cotton Group, which will be highlighting this achievement with customers, suppliers, employees and the local community in various ways throughout the year.
