Holiday Inn checks in to Manchester city centre as new hotel takes shape
Dominvs Hospitality’s new Holiday Inn in Manchester city centre is beginning to take shape ahead of its April opening.
The 298-room hotel, which is located next to Piccadilly Station, is being built under a franchise agreement with Intercontinental Hotels Group, parent company of Holiday Inn.
The new build adds to Dominvs growing repertoire of hotels; it currently operates five spread across Scotland, Durham and South Yorkshire.
Along with the multi-use Open Lobby, which includes a business centre and Starbucks coffee shop, the hotel will add local flavour with guest rooms and facilities named after Manchester cultural figureheads such as George Best and the Gallagher brothers.
Dominvs Chief Operating Officer, Sean Brookes, said: “This is an exciting time for Dominvs, working with the globally renowned Holiday Inn brand in the heart of a city going through a time of significant regeneration and increasing stature within Europe.
“We’re confident that the combination of the prime location and Holiday Inn brand is going to be a great success with both business and leisure guests.”
