Clifford Chance selects Advanced Legal’s Laserform Hub
International law firm, Clifford Chance, has adopted Advanced Legal’s Laserform Hub to submit MR01 forms electronically to the Government’s Companies House gateway.
The multi-national firm, confirmed in 2015 as number one in the world by Chambers Global, has chosen the award-winning Laserform Hub to streamline its submission process to Companies House.
Designed to unify the submission of data to government portals whilst introducing business-focused capabilities such as auditing and reporting on submissions, Laserform Hub has been well received in the market since its launch last March. More than 45 of the UK’s Top 200 law firms already use the service and in the last 12 months over 97% of mortgage filings submitted using software solutions have been completed via the Laserform Hub platform.
Antonia Adams, Global Programme Group Director at Clifford Chance says, “Most of our submissions to Companies House have been made via the traditional paper process. We decided to look for a systems solution in order to speed up the process for our lawyers submitting forms on behalf of our clients and also for our billing department processing the related charges.
“Advanced Legal’s Laserform Hub gives us precisely what we need: a secure system to submit MR01 forms to Companies House. Draft saving, data pre-population, and submission tracking not only enhances our own processes but drastically minimises the risk of missing deadlines. Going digital also simplifies our billing process and reduces our administration burden as we no longer have to print cheques to accompany the submissions.”
The Laserform Hub, which was recently recognised for its innovation with an award from the Mortgage Finance Gazette, was designed to revolutionise the form submission process, making it faster, more reliable and cost-effective.
Doug Hargrove, Managing Director, Advanced Legal, says, “It’s great that Clifford Chance can join the growing family of firms adopting the Laserform Hub. The response from the market has been fantastic and clearly shows that firms have a need for a solution that helps simplify the submission of data to multiple government agencies.
“We are continuing to develop the Laserform Hub at pace and will shortly add further capability to the platform by including integration to the SDLT and Land Registry gateways.”
