New Holiday Inn to launch in Manchester this April
InterContinental Hotels Group (IHG) is expanding its Holiday Inn brand in the North West this April with a new hotel near Manchester Piccadilly station.
The company’s latest site will offer 298 rooms along with suites and function space named after local icons, including United and City players.
According to a report by Business Traveller, the hotel will feature the brand’s Open Lobby concept, which brings together a Starbuck’s Café and restaurant, as well as a business centre and lounge.
The Piccadilly opening will be followed later this year by the launch of a new IHG hotel on Oxford Road.
Created as part of Manchester University’s £1bn campus revamp, the dual-branded Crowne Plaza and Staybridge Suites site will include 326 rooms across the two brands, with the latter including a 24-hour shop and fitness centre.
