UK’s ‘favourite Italian chef’ opens new restaurant at London Euston
Celebrity chef Gino D’Acampo, in conjunction with food and beverage operator SSP, has opened a new restaurant at Euston Station in London.
Gino D’Acampo My Restaurant is a 150-cover restaurant and includes a cocktail bar, an eat-at kitchen bar, and a dining area that overlooks the main concourse at the station.
Serving a range of dishes from D’Acampo’s cook books and TV shows, the restaurant joins Cafe Rouge, Nando’s and Prime Burger, as another dining option at the station.
The opening follows the launch of the first Gino D’Acampo My Restaurant in Manchester’s Corn Exchange two months ago.
Commenting on the new venture, D’Acampo said: “After a year of planning, I can’t wait to welcome guests to My Restaurant, Euston Station.
“I want to give commuters and local residents a proper taste of Italy. I am so excited to be a part of the new food landscape in Euston and every effort has been made to make sure our guests have a truly authentic Italian experience.”
Simon Smith, Chief Executive Officer of SSP UK and Ireland struck a similarly positive note when he added: “Gino D’Acampo My Restaurant at Euston is set to become a must-visit destination for those looking for a bite to eat or a drink on their way home, as well as those who live and work in the area.
“We’re delighted to be working with Gino and his team to bring authentic Italian cuisine to one of London’s most important stations.”
