Europa rolls out new Eastern European route

Europa Road, a division of innovative logistics operator, Europa Worldwide Group, has launched a new route to the Baltics - the first of 10 new European services planned to roll out over the next year. The route servicing Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia is part of the company’s ambitious programme of direct, and ultimately daily services to expand its growing European footprint

Europa has launched the service alongside leading international logistics group, CF&S, welcoming them to its fast growing network of European associates. The Estonian company, based in Tallinn, has strong road links with Scandinavia, Central Europe and Russia, further strengthening Europa’s partner network across the continent.

The new service is a strategic move in Europa’s rapid service expansion, as the Baltic countries lead the ranking of economic growth in the whole EU. With their central location providing access to 100 million consumers and their specialised sectors of economic activity, the Baltics have fast become an ideal centre of focus for foreign direct investment.

Running twice per week, the Baltic route is part of Europa’s target to improve connectivity across the continent by increasing its direct services. The total number of European routes currently stands at 33, of which 18 are already running daily.

Dan Cook, Operations Director for Europa Road, said: “2016 is set to be our most ambitious year yet and the launch of the Baltics service is just the tip of the iceberg.

The new Baltics route follows numerous services launched since 2014, including daily German routes to Frankfurt, Ense, Stuttgart and Rothlein, as well as Irun in Spain, Poland and Switzerland, and a direct service to Colmar in France

As well as its specialist European road freight solutions, Europa also provides dedicated air and sea, warehouse and showfreight services.
