West Sussex's Spiral Cellars capitalises on UK's growing wine market

West Sussex-headquartered Spiral Cellars, a specialist company which designs and installs fine wine cellars, has broken the £5m turnover mark for the first time in its history.

The business, which employs 35 people across its West Sussex and London offices, has experienced a 25% growth in the last three years as the UK’s taste for fine wine has grown.

With a 25% growth in January of this year compared to the same period last year, and following expansion to international markets such as North America and Australia, Spiral Cellars is targeting another strong year of growth in 2016.

Lucy Hargreaves, Managing Director and owner of Spiral Cellars, commented: “We have benefited from the growing passion for wine in the UK and the desire to ensure that it is stored perfectly and accessibly in the home.

“Our stylish, hand-crafted cellaring solutions are increasingly becoming the ‘must have’ feature in many homes across the country. We see this as a trend that is set to continue and are very optimistic about the growth of the business going forward.”
