Floorbrite secures new contracts worth £1.5m
Floorbrite, the cleaning and facilities service company based in Sale, has announced a series of new business wins worth £1.5m.
The firm said the new contracts, secured in the last six months, will allow it to expand its service offer across the whole of the UK, pushing it closer to doubling its turnover to £20m by 2020.
Floorbrite, which also has operations in Yorkshire and employs over 1,000 people, now provides daily cleaning services in 18 cities.
Nik Wyers, the business’ joint managing director, said: “We’ve been operating nationally for some time, but we’re thrilled to have bolstered our national portfolio even further with these new business wins.
“Our heritage is firmly in the North West of England but working in different cities across the UK brings both opportunities and challenges for us and we’re looking forward to working with more customers from across the country.”
He continued: “Since the business was founded back in 1972 we’ve built up an impressive portfolio of work and an incredibly strong network of suppliers and staff across the country so it’s testament to them that we’ve been awarded this additional £1.5m of national business.”
Floorbrite is today run by chairman Linda Wyers, managing directors Alex and Nik Wyers, finance director Helen Gosnay, HR director Jane Anderson and marketing director Nina Wyers, who spoke to Bdaily in December as part of the Christmas Conversation series.
