Appointments hat-trick for industrial shredder specialist
Industrial shredding specialist UNTHA UK has recruited a further three employees as the company continues to expand.
Now with more than 500 shredders in operation throughout the UK, the appointments have strengthened UNTHA’s growing after sales team.
Paul Lowden joins the team of nationwide service engineers responsible for the installation, servicing and maintenance of clients’ shredding technology. With a raft of mechanical engineering experience he will travel the length and breadth of the country to work on new and existing customer projects.
Paul is joined by workshop engineer Cameron Mitchell, a time-served mechanical engineer who spent five years in the RAF. Based mainly at UNTHA UK’s North Yorkshire headquarters, Cameron will increase the maintenance and refurbishment resource available to clients. Both Paul and Cameron will report to UNTHA UK’s head of after sales Roger Draper.
Caroline Brown is the company’s third new recruit. An experienced technical administrator who has worked in a range of high pressured business environments, Caroline will provide much-needed support in the busy office. Her skill-set spans general business administration, plus customer liaison, organisational compliance and HR, to name just a few.
The news follows hot on the heels of long-standing employee Marcus Brew being appointed to the role of managing director.
Commenting on the appointments, Marcus said: “To have reached the ‘500 shredders in operation’ milestone is a significant achievement for our organisation. But that number is growing by the day so it’s important that we flex our team in order to uphold the customer service standards for which we’ve become renowned.
“We set very high standards when it comes to recruiting, often appointing candidates with more experience than is needed for the roles. But that’s because we believe in future proofing our business and being the best at what we do. I have every confidence that Caroline, Cameron and Paul will prove crucial to our ongoing expansion plans.”
