Arrow lays down ‘cleaning and maintenance’ challenge at Infrarail 2016
One of the UK’s leading manufacturers of specialist chemicals is heading to Infrarail 2016 with a ‘challenge’ for the sector.
Arrow Solutions, which manufactures a range of cleaning, maintenance and anti-icing products, is inviting train operators, presentation managers, purchasing consultants and engineers to test its experts with their toughest challenges.
The company is keen to help the rail industry solve their problems by offering access to more than 45 years of technical experience and world class manufacturing facilities at its 16-acre site in Derbyshire.
Specialists from the firm will be on stand B20 at the international show (held at Excel London from April 12-14th) to discuss these challenges and solutions for overcoming them.
“We did a similar initiative at Railtex last year and the response was fantastic,” explained Martin Bell, Product and Marketing Manager at Arrow Solutions.
“Our experts worked with more than 20 different companies on problems ranging from breaking down limescale and keeping windows clean, to protecting paintwork and maintaining effluent tanks.”
He went on to add: “Infrarail will attract a slightly different audience, but one that will definitely benefit from our products and knowledge. We look forward to tackling the challenges head-on.”
Arrow Solutions will be showcasing its comprehensive range of cleaning and maintenance products that have been specifically designed and manufactured for the rail industry.
These include Supersolve HD (electronic cleaner for critical surfaces), Reline (professional line marking paint) and Lotoxane® (safe, non-flammable degreaser).
The company will also be displaying a variety of winter maintenance products, including Thaw (for defrosting platforms and walkways), Universal De-Icer (for de-icing ballast, points and rails) and Winter Grade Screenwash (which works to - 20°C)
Martin concluded: “Whether clearing hazardous ice from a platform, removing heavy oil deposits, cleaning bogies for inspection, or getting rid of unsightly graffiti we have the solution.”
“Our trained staff work closely with customers to identify best practice, reduce service interruption and maximise cost savings. As well as being accredited by RISQS, our products are Rail Cat approved and certified by ESG.”
