Newcastle gallery woos couples with wedding showcase
A Newcastle-based gallery is inviting brides and grooms-to-be to its showcase event this month to discover why it’s been named among the top city wedding venues in the country.
The Biscuit Factory - shortlisted for Best City Venue in this year’s UK Wedding Awards - will be hosting its Wedding Showcase open evening on Thursday 10 March, 5pm-8pm.
The event is an opportunity to see the gallery’s dedicated events space, The Biscuit Room, laid out for a ceremony and reception.
Throughout the evening, The Biscuit Factory’s events team will be on hand to talk to guests, one-to-one, about The Wedding Collection - a unique portfolio of services designed to make a couple’s day picture-perfect.
Guests will also be treated to canapés, as a little taster of the in-house catering; accompanied by a complimentary glass of fizz.
A selection of the gallery’s trusted local suppliers - encompassing everything from photography to flowers - will be showcasing their services on the night, too.
Tom Gostling, Events Manager at The Biscuit Factory says: “Our open evening is the perfect occasion for couples to explore our beautiful, sought-after spaces. We always suggest that when it comes to working with a venue, don’t do it their way, do it your way; and that is where we can help.”
Located within the Ouseburn valley, The Biscuit Factory is housed within a former Victorian warehouse, providing weddings with an inspiring, culturally-infused backdrop that’s characterised by contemporary art collections, wooden beams and original brickwork. Its purpose-built Biscuit Room is one of the largest in the city, accommodating up to 150 guests for a ceremony and 250 seated guests for a meal and party.
