beprotected is recruiting 100 new jobs from customer service, to sales directors and senior digital marketing roles.
Alistair Moncrieff, chief executive of beprotectedinsurance.com said: “Our research tells us that consumers find buying insurance unnecessarily complex and they often feel they aren’t getting the right deal. We combine the latest technology and good old fashioned service to source the best deal for the individual.
“It seems to be working, as we’ve already grown tenfold in the last twelve months. Leeds is the perfect location to support our growth with a long history of financial services contact centres and one of the largest digital sectors outside London.”
Leeds has been named as one of the leading Fintech centres in the UK, in a sector worth an estimated £20bn annually (UKTI).
Fintech cuts across all sectors of the digital economy and is becoming an increasingly important part of the UK’s financial services industry whilst revolutionising retail.
Leeds City Region is primed to be the UK’s Northern Fintech centre, supporting London as the leading European centre, due to the West Yorkshire city’s expanding digital capability and its recognition as the UK’s second centre for banking services.
