Knight Frank appointed adviser in Transylvania for "Eastern Europe's largest leisure sale"
London-headquartered property consultants Knight Frank have been appointed as real estate advisers on the sale of mountain resort ‘Silver Mountain’ in Poiana Brasov, Romania.
The sale, which is currently Eastern Europe’s largest leisure project sale, encompasses buildings spread over two and a half hectares of land along with 23.3 hectares of open space.
Buildings on the site include 171 units spread over four apartments, a 2,600 sq ft commercial space that houses a restaurant, club and spa, as well as a heliport and road infrastructure.
The site itself is within touching distance of local attractions such as Dracula Castle in Bran and sits 180km from Romania’s capital city, Bucharest.
Horatiu Florescu, Head of Knight Frank Romania, commented: “Poiana Brasov in Transylvania is one of the few mountain resorts where we see a high level of visitor demand and relatively limited supply.
“Mixed use projects such as Silver Mountain are scarce on the market and, given the broadly increasing investment activity, we expect its sale to generate a great deal of investor interest.”
