Gravity bounces into Norwich Riverside with third site

Yorkshire-based Gravity, the trampoline park business, is expanding into Norwich Riverside leisure complex.

Shelley Sandzer, the specialist leisure property agency, has acted on behalf of Land Securities to secure the 31,000 sq ft site at Norwich Riverside, which is due to open this spring.

This is the Gravity’s third site, with two already located in Lockmeadow Entertainment Centre in Maidstone, and at Xscape in Castleford, West Yorkshire.

Within the Norwich Riverside complex, Gravity will be adjacent to Hollywood Bowl on the first floor and feature dodgeball leagues, fitness classes and parent and toddler sessions. Gravity joins the Odeon cinema, Hollywood Bowl, and over a dozen restaurants already available.

Shelley Sandzer has now let to Gravity for the second time, on each occasion representing the landlord, Land Securities.

Henry Wilson at Shelley Sandzer, said: “This deal demonstrates our close working relationships with our client, in addition it is a testament to our understanding of the market and which brands can perform well in a specific locations.

“We look forward to continue working with such a high profile landlord and Gravity is a fantastic concept.”

Harvey Jenkinson, director at Gravity, commented: “The very successful opening in Maidstone has created a 35% increase in footfall for other leisure operators at the site.

“We have already seen customers travelling from all across the county to bounce with us and are excited to continue our expansion in 2016/17. This new site in Norwich will be the latest, biggest and most prominent park to date.”

Shelley Sandzer specialises in the restaurant and leisure property sector. The company provides considered and valued advice to many of the UK’s most highly regarded restaurant brands, centres, developments and high streets.
