Winning Yorkshire teams sign three year deal
The Shire Bed Company, based in Dewsbury, today celebrated the signing of its three year ‘dream ticket’ deal with Yorkshire County Cricket Club in the company of cricketers Alex Lees, Adam Lyth, and Matthew Fisher, at the hallowed Headingly ground in Leeds.
The company is to be a major sponsor until the end of the 2018 season, strengthening its relationship with the club following an initial one-year sponsorship package which Shire signed-up to in 2015.
Fara Butt, marketing director, The Shire Bed Company said: “We are proud to have become a partner of Yorkshire County Cricket Club and would like to thank everyone at the club for helping us celebrate this special occasion.
“Our passion for Yorkshire and the county’s cricket team makes this an excellent match for us. We are really looking forward to the season ahead and cheering on the team, especially the family who are all enthusiastic cricket fans.”
Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s history, tradition and passion is renowned throughout the world. No other county in the history of the game has won more trophies and produced more players for England.
Yorkshire County Cricket Club’s commercial director, Andy Dawson, said: “We are delighted that The Shire Bed Company has become an official partner of the club. The Shire Bed Company is an established, reputable Yorkshire brand that shares the same values as ourselves. We are very proud that they have joined our elite band of existing commercial partners.”
