HearFirst receives high commendation

Lancashire-based training and consultancy company, HearFirst has been highly commended by the Royal Association for Deaf People (RAD).

The accolade was presented to the company at the 175th RAD awards, where it had been shortlisted in the award category of ‘Best Deaf Business’.

The recognition is one of a long list of awards the company has recently received and continues to grow from strength to strength. The company, which delivers a full range of equality, Deaf and disability related training courses to organisations across the UK, was one of three businesses competing for the title which was announced at the RAD 175 Birthday Honours gala awards ceremony last month. The event celebrates Deaf history, language and culture and said that all organisations shortlisted ‘demonstrated excellence, innovation and forward thinking’.
