Sportswear brand Ron Dorff to open UK debut shop in Seven Dials
French-Swedish sportswear brand, Ron Dorff, is to open its first UK outlet at retail and leisure district Seven Dials in London’s West End.
The sporting brand, which specialises in contemporary men’s sportswear, is to take residence at a new 1,500 sq ft store at 5 Earlham Street in early April.
Founded in 2011 by Frenchman Jérôme Touron and Swede Claus Lindorff, Ron Dorff sells to over 50 different countries online and has its flagship store in Paris along with a presence in 80 different concept and department stores worldwide.
The move is part of property developer Shaftesbury’s strategy to turn Earlham Street, which is one of Seven Dials’ warren of crosshatching streets, into a menswear hub.
Co-Founder and Chief Executive Office, Claus Lindorff said: “For our second European flagship store London was the natural choice with its fashion and retail heritage.
“Seven Dials embodied these qualities and we were impressed by its character, accessibility and neighbouring brands. Shaftesbury’s passion and vision for Seven Dials were also inspiring, and confirmed it as the place for our debut in London.”
Following the announcement, Charles Owen, Portfolio Executive at Shaftesbury, added: “Ron Dorff is fantastic addition for Seven Dials and continues the trend of international fashion brands selecting Seven Dials to make their debut in London.
“They join arguably the strongest lineup of premium international menswear labels in the West End, complementing Loft Design By…, Farah and Natural Selection to further grow Seven Dials’ appeal as one of the capital’s key fashion destinations.”
