Dreamr Developers Enjoying a Brighter Future

Harry and Chris felt that the ground had been pulled from underneath them, when out of the blue, they were made redundant not long into the New Year. The future didn’t look quite so bright at that point.

Within a matter of a few days, Lynne, Dreamr’s Head of Aspiration had offered Harry a role as Android developer. Just a week later, Chris was hired, as a fully fledged Dreamr web developer.

Harry is philosophical: “Redundancy wasn’t great - but you learn from everything you do. It’s great that at Dreamr we’re all in it together. I know I can go to anybody and they’re happy to help. There’s a real sense of openness and as well as great communication. I can just talk to Ant across the desk from me if I need any support”.

Chris adds: “I love that it’s hands on, and we’re engaged in all parts of the process - we’re accountable, and also recognised for what we create. We all learn from each other and we’re encouraged to think for ourselves.

“At Dreamr we are always on the lookout for super-talented people, and we are delighted to have Harry and Chris, who are already doing amazing things as an integral part of our team” commented Lynne Makinson-Walsh.

The guys are currently enjoying working on the latest app for Sole Exchange, a cool project which helps sneaker-heads buy and sell their collectable trainers.
