Free advice for Barnsley business owners

Budding entrepreneurs and small business owners are invited to get some free advice on business essentials.

Flexible workspace provider, Bizspace, is holding an open day at its Oaks Business Park, on Oaks Lane, Barnsley, from 10am to 6pm on Thursday March 31.

Small companies and pre-start-ups are welcome to drop in and enjoy some refreshments, while finding out more about a range of topics needed to help a fledgling business launch and grow. This can range from registering a business to managing finance or finding the perfect premises.

Visitors can also view the centre’s brand new communal area, where customers can take a break or network, and take a look at facilities such as its two meeting rooms. The larger room is freshly refurbished and the smaller has been newly created in response to customer requests.

Business centre manager, Zoe Wadsworth, said: “Launching a business and finding the right premises is a big step and one which people will naturally have plenty of questions about, particularly if they haven’t done it before. We’d like to reassure people that the process can actually be very straightforward and the team will be on hand all day to answer any queries they may have.”
