Stockport insurance firm hits £2.5m milestone in its health division
Stockport-based C&C Insurance Brokers Limited has achieved a seven-figure milestone in its health and group risk division just 18 months after launch.
Since it was established in September 2014, C&C Healthcare has hit £2.5m gross written premium.
Managing director Malcolm Cooke attributed the success to the work of his two fellow directors, healthcare specialists Carmen Lowe and Paul Lewis, who were brought on board with C&C ahead of the new division’s launch.
C&C Healthcare provides health protection policies such as private medical insurance, cash plans, health screens, dental insurance and occupational health products.
Commenting on the growth, Carmen said: “With the increasing pressure on the NHS and excessive waiting times for treatment, employers are focusing on protecting the health and wellbeing of their workforce.
“C&C Healthcare has entered the market at an ideal time to meet employer demand, enabling us to grow the business and surpass expectations.”
Outside its healthcare business, C&C also advises on group death in service, group critical illness, key person cover and group income protection.
