Armadillo Self Storage support for young people’s charity
FOUR years of support for Sheffield young people’s charity Roundabout by city company Armadillo Self Storage is set to continue for another 12 months.
The company, part of the Big Yellow Self Storage Group, offers Roundabout free space which is mainly used for the storage of furniture for use by the charity.
Roundabout is the organisation that supports 150 homeless young people every day and has the only emergency hostel in Sheffield for young people aged 16 to 21.
It also has five self-contained flats which provide a home for eight young people for up to six months as they prepare for independent living.
“Armadillo Self Storage have generously provided us with storage facilities for four years now and that level has support has proved invaluable to us,” said Roundabout’s Fundraising and Communications Manager Ruth Gage.
“It proves too that there are so many different ways in which the business community can support a charity like ours.
“We now look forward to working with the Armadillo Self Storage team even more closely over the next 12 months.”
