Founder Of Lad Bible Joins Social Chain

Alex Partridge, the original founder of the popular websites Unilad and Ladbible has been taken on by Manchester based marketing agency Social Chain as their internal Head of Facebook.

The Manchester based agency Social Chain has taken Alex Partridge on board to head up it’s Facebook network growth and to support with the development and implementation of their creative campaigns, seeing instant success.

Partridge, now 27 first set up Unilad as a student whist studying at Oxford-Brookes university. During the initial stages of success Partridge used the Unilad platform to launch his second venture Lad Bible, which he later sold in 2012.

Established by entrepreneurs Steve Bartlett and Dominic McGregor in 2014 at just the age of 22, Social Chain is now Europe’s largest social marketing agency. The highly creative young team at Social Chain has grown the business to offer what no other marketing agency can offer; the ability to make 200 million people see a certain message at once, and have worked with huge brands such as Spotify, Comedy Central and Hungry House, being awarded The Drums Social Media Agency of the Year in December 2015.

Social Chain’s secret to success lies among a blend of affiliation of the most successful social influencers in the UK and the ability to leverage the hundred’s of social communities they own to control what gets talked about online through carefully created content, determined by in depth insights.

Based in Manchester, the marketing agency has 35 full time staff in their head office and are set to open the doors to their first overseas office this spring in Berlin, following on from London and Manchester after securing $2 million investment from German talent management company, NVC.
