New Regus workspace in Kent to offer flexible working for businesses and professionals
Global workspace provider Regus has opened a new business center in Ashford, Kent.
The new facility is contained within the landmark building The Panorama, and is part of a wider regeneration of the Kent town which includes plans for a new leisure sector, infrastructure projects and new homes.
Regus’ new business centre includes bookable meeting rooms, virtual office services and over 50 offices of various sizes. The facility is anchored by a large, open plan co-working space which aims to provide more modern and flexible ways of working for businesses and professionals in the area.
Richard Morris, UK Chief Executive Officer at Regus, said: “We are excited to announce the opening of our first centre in Ashford, a town with exceptional overseas transport links which is fast establishing itself as the ideal location to conduct international business.
“The opening of our first location here testifies to the demand for professional, flexible workspace in the town that caters to the needs of today’s increasingly mobile workforce. As pioneers of the flexible work model, Regus has successfully adapted its service offering to stay ahead of the demand curve.
“Co-working has long been popular amongst entrepreneurs and small businesses and is now becoming increasingly relevant to firms of all sizes seeking to tap into the dynamism and innovative thinking that a collaborative environment can bring.
“Our Ashford centre offers another high-quality, flexible facility that will appeal to these firms seeking a professional space which provides the optimum conditions for a productive workforce.”
Cllr Graham Galpin, Ashford Borough Council’s portfolio holder for town centres and business, added: “Ashford is widely recognised as the number one business location in Kent and we are pleased to welcome yet another thriving company to the town.
“Organisations of this calibre are recognising that Ashford is an essential location for their business. Regus offers a modern way of working for many businesses and of course Ashford, as a growing international town, is right at the forefront of this quality provision.”
