Wilmington stumps up £6m for healthcare analytics company
London-based business information specialist Wilmington plc has announced the acquisition of Evantage Consulting Ltd, the UK-based healthcare and pharmaceutical analytics company.
The deal will see Wilmington stump up £1.4m for the UK-based company along with a potential further cash consideration of £4.6m by 2020.
The two firms have already partnered for the last five years, working together as part of Wilmington’s NHiS data intelligence and analytics subsidiary.
Evantage, who specialises in the analysis of healthcare admissions, pathway and treatment data, will be incorporated into Wilmington’s Insight division as it attempts to enhance the healthcare analytics it offers to UK and overseas clients.
Pedro Ros, Chief Executive Officer of Wilmington, said: “I am delighted to welcome Evantage to Wilmington. With this addition to our Group we advance one of our strategic objectives of building our competency in healthcare analytics which will allow us to be even better placed to deliver our clients the insight they need to optimise their businesses.”
