West Ham United announce major new ticketing partnership ahead of stadium switch
Premier League football club West Ham United have announced a partnership with Ticketmaster.
The deal will see the global ticketing firm assist the football club with all its ticketing matters starting from next season.
It comes as the London club readies itself for a move to the redeveloped 60,000 capacity Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from next season, ending 112 years at its current Boleyn Ground home.
Ticketmaster will provide West Ham with retailing technology and project management infrastructure as it attempts to make the transition to the club’s new home as smooth as possible.
Vice Chairman, Karren Brady, commented: “The move to Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park presents us with a unique opportunity to offer an unrivalled supported experience.
“Our supporters can look forward to a vastly improved service across the board, and so we are delighted to be working with an organisation of Ticketmaster’s repute at this exciting time in the club’s history.”
West Ham currently sit fifth in the Premier League after some impressive performances this season.
