Three-storey living provides the perfect family home

Lim and Doug Vleeshhouwer, both 43 from Petts Wood, Orphington, have found that three-storey living has made a significant difference to their family after finding their dream home at David Wilson Homes’ Elm Tree Park development in Beverley.

Lim, a clinical administrator at a local hospice, and Doug, a contract project manager, were not expecting to buy a new build house, but after viewing the showhomes at Elm Tree Park, were impressed with the location – close to their two children’s schools – and reputation of David Wilson Homes, as well as being tempted by the amount of space on offer.

The Vleeshhouwer’s purchased the five-bedroom, three-floor Buckingham housetype, offering three bedrooms to the second floor, including a master en-suite, and a further two bedrooms on the top floor. Downstairs, there’s plenty of room for the family with a lounge, dining room, study and kitchen-family room with an added utility room and cloakroom.

Commenting on their new home, Lim said:

The Buckingham gave us the best layout for our family; the top floor is excellent for our 13 and 10 year old children, giving them a great space of their own, the room sizes suited us well and we were especially impressed with the bedrooms. With a three storey home, there is certainly plenty of well thought out space.

The sales team at Elm Tree Park was so friendly, helpful and approachable; they kept us updated and made the whole process stress free. The site team was also really helpful, answering all our questions throughout the sale.
