Thomas Cook launches new summer 2017 flights from Leeds Bradford Airport

Thomas Cook has announced several new routes from Leeds Bradford Airport for summer 2017.

Thomas Cook is starting services to Faro, Naples, Mahon, Tenerife, Larnaca and Alicante with Monarch from LBA, as well as operating flights to Palma with Evelop Airlines, to meet the regional demand from holidaymakers across West Yorkshire.

James Burrows, Thomas Cook’s aviation director, said: “One of the things that makes Thomas Cook holidays stand out for customers to be able to access our quality holidays from as many departure points in the UK as possible.

“We’ve teamed up again with Monarch to launch a regional programme from Leeds Bradford Airport, which has allowed us to open up a set of really exciting new routes.”

Tony Hallwood, Leeds Bradford Airport’s aviation development director, commented; “Leeds Bradford Airport is pleased to see the reintroduction of Thomas Cook departures from West Yorkshire in Summer 2017.

“With seven routes across Spain, Portugal, Cyprus and Italy offering up to 13 weekly departures, the range of holiday products on offer will appeal to families and couples alike.

“Flying locally from LBA will be a major benefit for Thomas Cook holidaymakers who will be able to once again fly closer to home.”

Thomas Cook’s Summer 2017 Leeds Bradford Airport programme will see flights travel to Faro on Tuesdays and Saturdays, Naples on Fridays, Mahon on Monday and Fridays, Tenerife on Tuesdays and Fridays, Larnaca on Wednesdays and Saturdays, and finally Alicante on Thursdays and Sundays.

All the above flights will be operated by Monarch.
