Dakota Digital Appointed by Premium Supplements Brand Decibel

The PR and content agency, Dakota Digital has been appointed as social media partner for the re-launch of premium fitness supplements brand, Decibel Nutrition. Dakota will lead content creation, planning and day to day management of the brand’s activities on all major social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

The appointment comes after four months collaborating as content and strategy partners for the brand alongside renowned creative firm, Monkey Mischief. Working as a combined entity Dakota Digital and Monkey Mischief have produced multiple working assets for Decibel Nutrition including labelling and packaging for the brand’s products, full website copy including product descriptions for the launch of the new site and various additional fitness specialist digital online and offline assets. The agencies have also created a series of downloadable fitness guides, training and nutrition plans.

Chris Woods, Head of Digital and Strategy at Dakota Digital, describes the relationship to be a natural fit. The brand immersion and progression of the working relationship between Dakota Digital and Decibel is so strong that Woods has also been appointed as one of the brand’s ongoing ambassadors. An elite level qualified personal trainer and nutrition guru, he will host and produce the launch of an online fitness and nutrition video series for Decibel, with assistance from Monkey Mischief. The video series forms one of the cornerstones of the ongoing content strategy and will feature significantly in social media communication plans.

This most recent appointment is the latest in a string of high profile wins for Dakota Digital in the fitness sector. It handled all PR for BodyPower last year, the largest consumer health and fitness event in Europe along with its trade counterpart LIW.
