bathstore expands internationally with new Qatar site
Bathroom retailer bathstore has expanded its international footprint with the launch of an international franchise in Qatar, its first in the region.
The London firm’s CEO Gary Favell and deputy CEO Dean Weston were on hand at the opening event to meet the owner of the new Doha-based franchise, Yousif Al Khater.
Featuring displays set across two floors, the store will sell bathroom suites, furniture, baths, ceramic sanitaryware and brassware.
In addition to its commercial offer, the shop will also house a prayer room, an area for kids and meeting room facilities.
Gary Favell, CEO of bathstore commented on the partnership stating, “This launch marks the next step in bathstore’s ambitious plans for growth, and we’re delighted to be in business with Mr. Al Khater in opening bathstore’s first ever international store.”
Sheikh Khalifa Bin Jassim Al-Thani, of the Qatar Royal Family, also attended the opening event.
Store owner Yousif Al Khater commented: “I would like to thank bathstore and Mr. Favell for trusting me to take the brand forward on its international journey.
“bathstore has a prestigious reputation, and I am honoured to carry the torch in the Middle East.”
