£25m Liverpool tower transformation to create 193 new homes

Property investment firm Knight Knox has announced plans to turn a 15-storey tower in Liverpool city centre into 193 new homes.

Working with developers Fortis Developments and Elite City Living, Knight Knox will transform Silkhouse Court on Tithebarn Street into a residential development comprising a mix of one- and two-bedroom apartments and studios.

Once the £25m makeover is complete in February 2017, Silkhouse Court will include a gym, communal reception area, bicycle storage facilities, 48 private parking spaces and a ground-floor nursery.

The site will be Manchester-headquartered Knight Knox’s ninth Liverpool development.

Silkhouse Court will be let by Fortis Lettings and Management, while Fortis’ estate management arm will handle the day-to-day running of the property.
