Spring Fever Takes Hold of Rainhill House Hunters

Rainhill families are snapping up new homes for spring, with 20% of all sales at Countryside’s Stephenson Grove development taking place in the last two months. Prices start at £192,500.

Local buyers have scooped 13 new family homes at the Warrington Road development since February, bringing the total number of homes sold to 67 out of 79.

Amongst the first to move into their new Stephenson Grove home was Colin and Carol Jones, who took advantage of the popular Help to Buy scheme to secure their three-bedroom house.

Colin, an area manager, commented: “We wanted a brand new home and Stephenson Grove is positioned exactly where we wanted to live - to say we were pleasantly surprised to find out what we could afford to buy is an understatement.

“We were instantly impressed with how spacious and well thought out the design and specification of the homes are for the price and we loved the added extras, especially the French doors that open up onto the garden. The Help to Buy scheme made it so much more affordable to buy our dream home and the support we received from Countryside made the whole process stress-free.”

The influx in popularity follows a redesign of the development to include more four-bedroom home designs, as a result of customer feedback.
