Bradford Bulls gets better connected with new investment
Rugby league club Bradford Bulls is investing in the newly launched SouthBank venue with the support of business communications specialist NGC Networks.
The professional sports club has upgraded its Wi-Fi network to significantly improve SouthBank’s services for all organisations that stage conferences and events in the the venue’s facilities, which is part of Provident Stadium.
The bandwidth upgrade has been delivered by Wakefield-based NGC Networks. NGC has previously installed a state-of-the-art business telephony solution and designed new tariffs for lines and calls, enabling the Bulls to make significant savings.
Amanda Keal, conference and banqueting manager at Bradford Bulls, said: “We can have as many as 200 people attending events and often many of them want to connect to our Wi-Fi from their mobile phones and other devices.
“The bandwidth upgrade means we can now offer much better connection and speeds at SouthBank which is the perfect location for all types of events.”
Nikki Guest, NGC’s network services director, added: “It can be frustrating for people taking part in interactive events to find connection speeds are slow. Our upgrade provides the Bulls with the opportunity to offer improved facilities to organisations and their delegates.
“We’re delighted to continue our partnership with the Bulls in this way and congratulate them on the launch of SouthBank.”
