Community spirit drives sales at Garnett Wharfe

Local housebuilder, David Wilson Homes, has reported tremendous success at its Garnett Wharfe development in Otley. Now in its third phase of construction, the development has sold 68% of its new, luxurious homes, highlighting that the housing market in the area is thriving.

Garnett Wharfe has become a very popular development for families looking for two, three and five bedroom homes available from £214.995. These fantastic homes are beautifully designed with stunning surroundings and have proven a popular choice for buyers. All homes constructed as part of phase one of work at the site are now sold and inhabited, while only seven homes constructed as part of phase two of work are still remaining for sale. Phase three of work at the site is now underway, where five homes have already been reserved for purchase.

Located within walking distance of the town of Otley, Garnett Wharfe is well placed for semi-rural living with good access to main roads and the motorway network for easy commuting. The development has seen a boost in sales from initiatives including the Government backed Help to Buy scheme and David Wilson Homes’ part exchange offer. Of the 13 sales completed this year, two have been purchased as a result of the Help to Buy scheme, with another three coming as a result of part exchange deals.
