Social Chain Awarded Prolific North’s Large Digital Agency
The social media marketing startup, Social Chain has been awarded ‘Large Digital Agency’ at the Prolific North Awards held last night at Lancashire Country Cricket Club.
Held annually, The Prolific North Awards celebrate excellence and exceptional talent in the creative and media industries across the North. Up against multiple thriving digital agencies, Social Chain were thrilled to take home the trophy.
Set up in November 2014 by university drop outs and entrepreneurs Steven Bartlett and Dominic McGregor, the digital marketing agency has been profitable since the start seeing a seven figure turnover in its first year. Social Chain’s efforts did not go unrecognised, being awarded the ‘Social Media Agency of the Year’ at the Drum Awards in December 2015.
With an average employee age of just 22, this highly creative young team has grown the business to offer what no other marketing agency can offer; the ability to make over 200 million millennials see a certain message, image, video or trend at once, communicating to their audience through influencers across social media platforms.
Steven Bartlett, co-founder and CEO of Social Chain said, “We are truly honoured to be awarded ‘Large Digital Agency’ at the Prolific North Awards. We have such a talented and innovative team at Social Chain, who all grasp our company ethos of constantly disrupting ourselves and the industry, breaking the rules to do great things in a way it’s never been done before”.
Social Chain work with huge global brands including Hungry House, Just Eat, Spotify, Comedy Central, Disney, Topman and Asos to name a few.
Headquartered in Manchester, Social Chain has an office in London and have recently opened the doors to its first overseas office in Berlin as the first stage of international expansion following a recent investment of $2 million from German talent management firm, NVC.
