Digital firm Parity Group wins £1.8m extension for MOD contract

Business systems provider Parity Group has sealed an extension to its two-year Ministry of Defence (MoD) contract.

The London-headquartered firm, which entered into an agreement with the MoD in September last year, has been providing costing and consultancy services in relation to Military Capability Output Costing System (MCOCS) as part of its Consultancy Services division.

The MCOCS contract, originally signed for £2.1m, will now be worth £3.9m thanks to the order extension that has been agreed today.

MCOCS is a business intelligence intiative that helps to provide cost data information, including military capabilities and options, modelling scenarios and benchmarking financial performance.

Parity Group have also announced that they have gained a place on the Government’s CCS Digital Outcomes and Specialists framework, which will allow the organisation to provide specialist teams to build and support digital services across central and wider Public Sector.
