Extensive refurbishment planned for local children’s nursery

The owner of Beverley based children’s nursery, Kidz@Annies Day Care, has announced plans to completely renovate and refurbish the child care facility over the coming months.

The project, which is being supported by funding from Royal Bank of Scotland, will see the premises completely transformed and modernised. The building is to be re-wired and re-plumbed ahead of the installation of new bathrooms and lighting, whilst all classrooms will be fully re-decorated and new flooring installed. The nursery will also be fully refurbished with brand new equipment, furniture and toys. It is anticipated that the work will take around eight weeks to complete and will be finished by the start of the summer months.

Located on Hull Bridge Road in Beverley, East Yorkshire, Kidz@Annies Day Care provides day care for up to 54 babies and children aged between six weeks and six years of age.

Royal Bank of Scotland has provided the company with an undisclosed funding package to support the refurbishment costs.

Annie Sturley, Owner of Kidz@Annies Day Care, said: “I’m really excited about the works that are taking place at the nursery. Our plan is to completely refresh and update the interiors so that they reflect the level of care our amazing team of staff continue to provide.

“Having been open since 2003 the facilities are in need of updating and we want to ensure that we continue to provide a fun and stimulating environment for our children to enjoy.

“The renovation works form part of our strategic growth plan and we hope will help us to increase the number of children attending.”

Neil Brownrigg, Healthcare Manager at Royal Bank of Scotland said: “The refurbishment plans that Annie and the team have in place will really improve the aesthetics of the nursery and I am pleased we have been able to support the project. We look forward to working with them during the next few months and celebrating the launch of the new-look facility.”
