Monaghans to Host Charity Football Match
Monaghans are taking to the football pitch in support of the 2016 Master Cutler’s Challenge.
The Master Cutler’s Challenge is an annual charity fundraising extravaganza that sees businesses, groups and individuals take up the challenge of raising money for the Master Cutler’s chosen organisations. This year’s chosen organisations are St Luke’s Hospice in Sheffield and Rotherham Hospice.
As part of their fundraising efforts, Monaghans are hosting a charity football match at Bramall Lane on Thursday May 19 (18:45 kick-off), when the ‘Monaghans All Stars’ will take on the ‘Rest of Property XI’.
The 80 minute match, sponsored by Sheffield Digital Campus, is open to all spectators who would like to attend. Admission is free but donations are welcome.
The match will be officiated by legendary former Premier League referee Keith Hackett and his World Cup team.
Tan Khan, Monaghans Regional Director said:
“We are pleased and honoured to support The Master Cutlers Challenge. It is a great tradition in Sheffield and embraces the entrepreneurial skills of companies and their employees whilst at the same time raising much needed support for worthy causes. We are very grateful to Sheffield Digital Campus for their headline sponsorship and we are looking forward to what will no doubt be a great night“
