Advanced Secures Services Agreement with British Airways Pensions
British Airways Pensions (BAP) has selected Advanced to provide an end-to-end range of IT managed services.
The initial agreement is over a five-year period during which Advanced will be providing a total of 26 IT services including Service Desk, Desktop Management and Infrastructure Monitoring.
Advanced is set to complete the on-boarding of ‘as is’ services from BAP’s previous provider before the end of May 2016.
Advanced was selected from a final shortlist of three providers following a thorough and competitive tender process from which BAP was looking for a flexible and reliable provider with a good quality of staff with relevant experience that was suited to BAP’s size and company culture.
Neil Cross, Managing Director – IT Services, Advanced says, “We will provide British Airways Pensions with everything the company needs to effectively and securely support its IT infrastructure on a daily basis.”
Advanced provides IT services such as outsourcing, cloud computing, and application development and support. The business also provides an advisory service to support the deployment of technologies including modernisation, legacy system migration, application development, applications support and data cleansing.
