Huddersfield’s Adare teams with the FA to produce Emirates FA Cup final tickets

Adare SEC, the Huddersfield-based secure and essential communication solutions provider, is taking on a major role in this year’s Emirates FA Cup final.

The company is using its printing technology to produce tickets for the final of the football cup competition, which takes place at Wembley Stadium connected by EE on Saturday 21st May.

Fans from Emirates FA Cup finalists, Manchester United and Crystal Palace, accompanied the iconic trophy to Adare SEC to see the first tickets coming off the production line for the showpiece match.

For the first time in the 146 year history of The Emirates FA Cup, images captured by fans appear on the tickets for the final after a campaign on Instagram using #EmiratesFACup generated thousands of entries.

The FA launched the competition ahead of Round 1 in November, with fans entering to win the chance to have their photo featured.

Emmanuel Cole, who has over 150,000 followers on Instagram, worked with The FA to bring acted as judge for the fan Instagram competition. Cole and The FA went through the thousands of images to find the fan photos they believed were worthy of being curated into the design of this year’s Emirates FA Cup final ticket.

For the past twelve years, Adare SEC has been working with The FA producing thermal tickets for all Emirates FA Cup and England games held at Wembley Stadium, as well as producing tickets for many Premier League and football league clubs.
